Professional resources
For clinicians
A concise screening and referral starting point for professionals working across neurology, rehabilitation, primary care, pelvic health, urology, and bowel care.
Ask directly and neutrally
- Any change in urgency, frequency, leakage, emptying, or awareness of bladder fullness?
- Constipation, difficult emptying, bowel leakage, or loss of warning?
- Pelvic or genital pain, numbness, altered sensation, or sexual-function change?
- Difficulty reaching, transferring to, positioning on, or managing clothing at the toilet?
- Any new retention, saddle sensory change, loss of control, or rapidly worsening leg weakness?
Refer by the question that needs answering
- Urology or urogynecology: storage, emptying, pressure, recurrent infection, organ or outlet concerns
- Gastroenterology or colorectal care: significant constipation, leakage, bleeding, pain, or bowel-program complexity
- Neurology or rehabilitation medicine: new neurological change, progression, spasticity, autonomic issues, or care coordination
- Pelvic and neurological rehabilitation: individualized movement, muscle, sensation, pain, habit, mobility, and access goals
- Occupational therapy: equipment, hand function, clothing, bathroom setup, task sequencing, and caregiver techniques
